Products, concepts, and components sold or presented on this site are intended for personal, residential, or educational use unless explicitly stated otherwise. Unauthorized or commercial use of components (including our lifting tabs or prototypes) may void any warranty or support provided.

Return and Refund Policy

Product Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with our innovations. If a product is defective, damaged in shipping, or does not meet reasonable expectations, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

Return Conditions:

Must include proof of purchase
Product must be returned in original or functional condition (unless damaged in transit)
Exchanges or refunds are processed upon inspection

We reserve the right to deny returns for:

Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification
Items not returned after a warranty claim has been filed
Repeated or abusive claims without cooperation

Return shipping costs may apply depending on the situation.

5. Lifetime Limited Warranty – Lifting Tabs

Our lifting tabs are designed for long-term, non-commercial use in residential or small-scale settings.

We offer a lifetime limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. We may replace lifting tabs at no cost, subject to the following terms:

Warranty Conditions:

Original proof of purchase is required
Product must have been used in accordance with guidelines
Reasonable evidence (photos or return of the failed part) may be requested
Warranty covers replacement only—not incidental or consequential damages

If breakage is repeated, appears to be due to misuse, or if damaged parts are not returned, we reserve the right to:

Limit or deny future replacements
Offer alternative solutions (e.g., upgraded components or recommendations)

We aim for fairness, and will evaluate any claim on a case-by-case basis.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CANen R&D will not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or use resulting from use of the Site or our products
Any issues arising from misuse or unauthorized modifications of our products

Our liability is strictly limited to the replacement or refund of the original purchase.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
